Professor Ghosh has done her MPhil in Problems Of Working Women: A survey of women in Kalyani Municipal Area. Her PhD thesis is titled The Political Philosophy of Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das: A critical evaluation.
Professor Ghosh has presented papers in several UGC Sponsored seminars in the International, State and National level. Some of her publications include Status of Women in India after Independence in the International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, ISSN 2321-9203, Rashtra Sampraday Sangharsha: Pato Bhumi-Bhumika, Rastro Samashya, ed Suman Bhattacharjee, Krishnagar Women’s College, ISBN 978-81924-395-2-5, Paribarik nirjaton ebong nari, Sanghat o Sahishnuta , ed. Her latest publication is on the Paris Accord: Towards a New Climate Agreement. She has been teaching for over a decade and is routinely consulted to be an Observer for Teachers Eligibility Test conducted by the Government of West Bengal and evaluates School Service Commission Exams conducted by the Government of West Bengal. She is engaged in spreading awareness about the menace of Sexual Harassment in Higher Education and is engaged in several programmes to empower girl students from rural backgrounds. She has been associated with the National Service Scheme of the college for a very long time. She is a part of the University Visiting Team for University Exams 2016.
Her teaching and research interests include issues of local governance, comparative political systems and public administration.
